So, I wrote about my experiences signing up for Instant Ink in my last post. I was hooked! As a teacher, I was printing decorations for my classroom. Well, now, I am thinking that I want to try to print pictures. Last Spring, I printed pictures for my kids in my first grade classroom, and they printed nicely! Also, another reason is that my oldest son is graduating, and I need to print pics for his layouts I am creating (grade cards, artwork, & other memorabilia). So, here is an 8×10 Kindergarten pic that was printed from Lifetouch, and another that I printed on my HP 5540 printer. I did use photo paper.
There are a couple differences I should point out. One is that the pic I printed has a unique border, because that was the digital print I had purchased from them. Yes, I know, I should have printed another 8×10, but, being the frugal gal that I am, didn’t….well, because…I didn’t need it! LOL!
